Club Activities

Activities normally fall into two parts:

A formal meeting: This comprises a short club business session, a coffee and fellowship break followed by a guest speaker on a topic of mutual interest.

Outings (between meetings) to places or organisations of interest to members.
These may include overnight trips, tours and walks.

  • 9th January – David Whyte will speak on “The history of tools”.
  • 13th February – Rod Hook will speak on “Transforming our city”.
  • 12th March – Brenton Tucker will speak on “Battlefields of the Somme”.
  • April – not yet confirmed.
  • May – David Jarman will speak on “The sad demise of Oaklands Estate”.

Thursday 27th February at 10:15 am. Followed by lunch at St. Kilda Hotel (Fooks Terrace St. Kilda.)
